MK Dons boss Karl Robinson admitted that his side were the architects of their own downfall in their 2-1 defeat with Peterborough but believed they deserved at least a draw. Craig Mackail-Smith put Posh in front in the 36th minute although Dean Lewington levelled 60 seconds later. Aaron Mclean headed home the winner, though, and Robinson admitted his side did not take their goalscoring opportunities. "We outplayed Peterborough in the first half and I couldn't see them scoring," said Robinson. "We had one terrific chance to get ourselves level but sadly it fell to a defender. If Mackail-Smith or Mclean were given that opportunity, the ball would have been in the back of the net. "There is no doubt in my mind that a draw would have been a fair result."
