Robinson bemoans Dons display

Last updated : 30 October 2010

Karl Robinson was less than happy with the performance of the referee during MK Dons' seventh straight defeat on the road. Both sides finished with 10 men, with Gary MacKenzie and Zoumana Bakayogo seeing red. Dale Jennings netted the opener but the visitors levelled through Peter Leven's spot-kick. An Ian Thomas-Moore double and Jennings' second made it 4-1, while Sam Baldock's late goal was mere consolation. "It was eventful to say the least," he said. "They should make a rule that makes the referee come out to speak to you after the game. If I say anything I risk getting a fine. "I can't wait to see the video recording of the game. You can't control the uncontrollable. Our man said he did not touch their player for the Tranmere penalty and the third goal stemmed from an offside position. "Our sending off I can't condone. The referee got that one right and also our penalty. Other than Dale Jennings there was not much between the sides. We cannot make excuses. We have got to get our heads up quickly and prepare for our next game on Tuesday."
