The Dons boss was delighted with the performance of the side but felt they should have won more comfortably than by just a solitary first half goal from Mathias Doumbe.
"I don't want to be too disrespectful to Wycombe, but the first half was like attack versus defence, but that's how well we played," Ince told the official website after the 1-0 win at Adams Park.
"I am disappointed we didn't get more [goals] because they had a chance in the last couple of minutes and you could come in one-all.
"We took control from start to finish, our passing was great at times, but we've got to be more clinical when we're in the ascendency.
"We could have killed the game many times today and we didn't do that. That's the only disappointing thing I can say.
"I'm looking at the first 40 minutes and thinking it's going to be one of those days, where you come away getting beat one-nil when you've had 80 per cent of the play and enough chances to win four or five games."
