MK Dons assistant manager John Gorman believes former side Southampton will be the team to beat in npower League One this season. The Saints have spent big money over the last 12 months and possess top scorer Rickie Lambert - but Gorman is also confident of a strong showing from his side when they meet next month. Gorman told the club`s official website: "I would say Southampton are the favourites for the league this year but it should bring out the best in our lads. "We have got five new players which will be a big boost for the fans. "I know Alan Pardew well, I was his assistant at Reading, so I know he will have his team ready."
