Ghost Town

I protested outside with many other fans as we told the message of how football is to belong in the town where it is from. As far as I am aware, Wimbledon has no geographical tie with MK whatsoever, and the impending move shows a total disregard to the real fans.

It is a shame to the name of Wimbledon, to see the cheery, underdogs, who didn't play the cleanest football, turn egg on the face of Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal, playing infront of... Noone. Actually, it's not ashame, for Wimbledon play infront of 5,000 fans, in the Combined Counties League. Where the fans matter, and the football is played in Wimbledon.

The protest was a huge success, with exagerated figures, and excuses such as "children are on school holidays" used to cover up for a team with little hope in Division One, and little character in the game. I like many Dons fans now, feel no sympathy to Milton Keynes FC, but feel fear that this may happen to another team in England.

I think that Murdoch's comments to the media have been less that tactful, and in most instances: ignorant. I sadly believe that the club won't last more that one season, and I feel sorry for the players that didn't manage to escape the sinking ship.

I can't understand how people could call themselves Dons fans. Three men in particular stand out to me as they kissed an emblem of a once cherished team, and then continued to swear at the real fans.

Goodbye days with character and charm. Goodbye days of woe.

Hello AFC Wimbledon, let's do it all again.
