Boss Keen To Sign A Number Nine

The Dons boss put the failure to land the striker down to the clubs administration problems but says he has five trialists at the club and he will choose from one of those.

"It's massively important to get a number nine. The disappointment is that we've missed the boat," he said.

"We had Andy Smith lined up for months but because we were in administration he signed for Preston.

"I won't be rushing anything through and there are still people we can look at.

"I'll be looking for someone from the five trialists coming in to the club."
