MK Dons manager Karl Robinson described Angelo Balanta's equaliser as "a wonder-goal by a wonderful player" after seeing his side held 1-1 at home by Colchester. Balanta ran at the visitors' defence and curled home from long range in the 66th minute to cancel out Magnus Okuonghae's first-half opener for Colchester, who remain unbeaten in League One. Robinson said: "It was a wonder-goal by a wonderful player. People compare him to Jason Puncheon, but I think he's better than Punch. "It was a good goal by Angelo. I don't think you will see many better goals in the country. The boy is special. I have missed him asking questions of full-backs and that injection of pace and quality." Robinson added: "We were extremely poor in the first half, I can only apologise to the fans. I think you can tell by the croakiness of my voice that I gave the boys a verbal attack at half-time, a calculated one. "We had a right good go second half, but it's still not acceptable because of what happened in the first half. We've been outplayed, but we've dug a 1-1 out - maybe that was our turning point to get us up the league.
