Robbo switch works a treat

Despite having not won at home in more than three months, the Daggers looked anything but short of confidence and dominated the early stages, but Dons substitute Mark Carrington's weak 20-yard shot in stoppage time was fumbled by goalkeeper Tony Roberts and trickled over the line to make it seven home games without a win for the Daggers.

Robinson said: "We said during the week that, as we saw against Plymouth, if you shoot you never know what may occur and luckily it fumbled in.

"It was difficult for the goalkeeper to hold when you see how the pitch is, but we're thoroughly pleased with the win and the three points.

"I felt first half they slightly shaded the game. They won an awful lot of second balls and I thought (Romain) Vincelot won everything.

"The only chances they got were from our mistakes really, but we changed the system at half-time and went three up top with Stephen Gleeson sitting in midfield. He dictated the play then, with (Peter) Leven and (Luke) Chadwick working hard, and I felt it worked."
