Orders are being taken for the MK Dons year book 2004/5, the book, dubiously titled “The Story of an unforgettable season.”, if only it was unforgettable for the right reasons.
It covers every goal, every game, every ground, every round and “every pie” during the season, there are over 100 pages, including loads of colour pictures. The book comes out in May and you can order your copy online only at the moment via ljspublishing@btopenworld.com , and is being touted as a “very limited edition” , I’m not quite sure what the writer of the book is intimating at, but I can honestly say I have already ordered my copy. Well I would wouldn’t I ? They’re using my mug shot on the promotional leaflet included in the season ticket mailing. I really need to sort my image rights out , surely they should pay me for the photo ?
Events covered should include Stuart Murdoch’s departure, Jimmy Gilligan’s four match reign as “The Caretaker” including the dizzy heights of the two qualifying rounds of the FA Cup and a lesson in football from the soon to be Champions of the division Luton Town.
Also the arrival of Danny Wilson and Ian Bowyer and an up turn in form including the infamous eleven match unbeaten run, which featured the flight to Bournemouth for five Dons from MK International Airport (Cranfield) and the yet to be written end to the season and don’t forget the new stadium being built at Denbigh.
